Black w/purple or gold... These are GREAT eyeshadows, the quality and pigments so blendable. You will have this collection for a long time! When I wear the gold... I get so many compliments about how bright my eyes look. I love a little sparkle...but I don't want to look like I am 16, I am 29 and you can wear these colors to work... it is all in how heavy you apply the color. ENJOY@! Customer Rating: Summary: Wonderful collection Comment: I have had endless enjoyment using this palette (and the mild glitter, which I love, shouldn't give the impression this is only for the very young - I'm over 50.) The combinations and ranges of colours, only a few very intense (and well suited for the crease area, or for using as a liner), allow for a splendid combination. I dislike neutrals and love vivid colours, but these are not extreme or hard looking, and blend beautifully. Since 'a little goes a long way,' it is a very good value. I have many sheer shadows that only appear in flash photography for some reason so I was looking for colors that would really show without having to layer it on or without looking like Mimi from The Drew Carrey show. These are soft, matte, and nicely pigmented. Unlike other shadows that end up dusting my cheeks as well, these stay put, even without primer. The bonus is that many youtube makeup gurus use these colors in their tutorials so you can do a search using the palette or shadow name for looks and ideas. Customer Rating: Summary: Vibrant and Neutral Shades for darker skin tones Comment: Finally vibrant colors that appear on darker skin tones! This is probably one of the best palettes that Urban Decay has come out with to date. There aren't any glittery shadows for once. Even though the brighter colors are the standout ones for me, they also give you the option of having neutral tones for days when you don't want fuschia eyeshadow on. Fishnet (a duochrome fuschia), Ransom (dark vibrant purple), and Peace (blue turqoise) are my favorite shades, they are loud colors but I use them as accent colors. I can't remember the name of the golden shade but it is my favorite color to add if I want just a sweep of shadow with mascara. One of the shades not included in the box is called Heat, a burnt red color also can double as a blush. More Reviews
