So I guess it was the perfect gift for someone who loves make-up. Customer Rating: Summary: The ultimate palette for eyeshadow lovers Comment: I doubt I am alone in loving to blend colours and create looks from stunning to 'Midsummer Night's Dream' magical - and this is just that palette with which one can create myriad new looks. I have had much enjoyment from the glittering, fun shadows in this collection (many unique to Urban Decay II). I blend three shadows on the lids and under the brows, using a fourth as a liner, and the result is not at all overdone (though there are ways of using the darker colours to create a smoky eye look, from which I refrain since, at 50+, that's an effect my eyes can give me all too well unaided.) The eye-shadow primer does give an even base for application which greatly improves the appearance and simplifies usage. The only drawback is that this collection contains no applicators at all, nor any place to store them. Customer Rating: Summary: Book of Shadows Vol II Comment: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this shadow kit!!!
