Description

Fireworks now supports a full integration with Device Central.

Device Central provides designers and coders a comprehensive testing facility that approximates how pages and graphics will look on a variety of cell phones with different screen resolutions, color depths, memory constraints, and other performance characteristics.

It simplifies the mobile authoring workflow and allows developers to preview designs and test content on the desktop before loading it on the mobile devices for final testing.

2. Adobe Fireworks CS5

Fireworks supports a round-tripping with Device Central for a full integration:

1. To open Device Central from Fireworks: File > Device Central launches Adobe Device Central,
2. Inside Device Central, select a mobile template,
3. Double click the template and you are directed to Fireworks where a document is opened based on the mobile size
4. You work on the template
5. Select Preview in Device Central and you will see the whole project in Device Central
6. In Device Central select " Return to Fireworks" for further updates
