Whenever you choose a font and re-open the font list menu, you will be taken to the last selected font and not to the start of the font list.

This is probably an issue that is affecting all Fireworks users and we all find the last 6-font selection being at the top of the recent font list to be annoying. font list of last fonts used

When I am trying to pick a font for a site and I select one but then later decide I don't like it but maybe want another one in the list below I have to scroll all the way down to find where I started from. This is a counter productive behaviour.

I pick a font starting with M then I decide I want to look for something else. Instead of dropping me back at the list starting with the font I have choosen I am at the beginning of the list again an have to start from scratch.

Hopefully, Derren Whiteman's set of commands: Recent Font List remove the recent font list appearing at the beginning of the font menu. Whenever you choose a font and re-open the font list menu, you will be taken to the last selected font and not to the start of the font list. Hope this helps!

What the command does is modifying RecentFontLimit string from Preferences.txt file which has a default value of 6.

You can see the list the 6-font selection at the top. The one recently selected.

After

The list has been removed and you are taken to the last selected font and not to the start of the font list.

Recent Font List is not compatible with Fireworks 8

The ZIP file contains a set of 3 commands:

• 1- Recent Font List - 6 (Default).jsf

If you want to get back to Default value and Recent Font List

• 2- Recent font list - 10.jsf

If you want your recent font list value to be 10

• Recent Font List - 0 (Off).jsf

Remove recent font list
