This tips shows you how to read the local URLs of Fireworks documents in the tabs.

In Fireworks

That was unnoticed in Fireworks CS4 but when you hover the tabs a small yellow window pops up showing the local paths (yellow background with black font) for about 5 seconds of the files. This feature is not documented.

In Dreamweaver

In Dreamweaver, we have the same system, the local file URL is shown in a small window but you can also read the URL in the right hand corner of the header [where you can see all the tabs]. Because the local URL is impossible to read with more than 5 tabs, local paths can be read from the small pop up windows.
