1. Layers to Files, States to Files and Pages to Files

With this new feature, you can export individual Pages (or all the pages) from a multipage document as PNG and will be able to export the Layers and States as bitmap only.

In the Export dialog box, 3 new options are available:

1. Pages To Files. Exports selected pages as individual files.
2. Layers To Files. Exports layers in the selected pages as individual files.
3. States To Files. Exports states in the selected pages as individual files.

Pages To Files Workflow

To export individual pages or all the Pages as PNG:

1. Select a page from the Pages panel, right-click and select: Export Selected Page(s). See Figure 2.
2. In the Export dialogue box, giving a name to your file will do nothing. It is odd, but your new file name will be the name from the Pages panel
3. In the Export menu select: Page to Files. See Figure 1.
4. In the 'Export As' menu select: PNG. Figure 3.
5. You have more options to choose from: You can choose the 'Current' page, 'All' the pages or only the 'Selected Pages'

Layers to Files Workflow

To export all the layers in the selected pages as individual files.

1. Select a page from the Pages panel, right-click and select: Export Selected Page(s)
2. In the Export menu select: Layers to Files. All the layers will be exported as bitmaps.

States to Files Workflow

To exports states in the selected pages as individual files.

1. Select a page from the pages panel, right click and select: Export Selected Page(s)
2. In the Export menu select: States to Files. All the States will be exported as bitmaps.
2. Customizing file name when exporting

In the Export Options dialog box, select Add Prefix, or Add Suffix, and select an option from the menu. You can name the files using any of the following options:

1. doc.name

The name of the source file is added as a prefix or suffix. For example, if you are exporting a page with the name Index from the source file sites.png using the Add Prefix option, a file with the name Sites_Index.gif is generated.

2. Numerical (1, 2, 3...or 01, 02, 03...)

The files are generated in a numerical sequence with the numbers being added to the prefix or suffix. All the exported page files are numbered in the order of their appearance in pages panel. When you are exporting many pages, use the double digit sequence.

3. Use the options in the File Type menu to optimize the settings for the exported file.
