Description

This command enables you to modify the canvas setting live:
- Set new canvas and resize
- Change canvas background color
- Change canvas resolution
- Change canvas size to A4

Installation Instructions

Drop the .jsf or .swf file into the Commands (or Command Panels) folder then run the command or if you have a mxp file, double-click the mxp and installation is automatic.

Requirement

All Fireworks versions that accept flash panels (Fireworks MX) up to Fireworks CS4

1. Set up the canvas size by adding the Width and Height and a comma in between in the appropriate field then click on the Create button.

2. This tool will allow direct resizing of the canvas by increasing or reducing the width or height by ranges of 500px, 100px and 20px. See Figure 2. This tool is directly inspired by John Dunning´s Resize Selected Objects which ships with Fireworks (Commands > Resize Selected Objects).

3. Change color from transparent to black.

4. Set the resolution of the document in pixel per inch (ppi). To see what is your document's resolution at every moment click on Image Size or the Page Preview. See Figure 3.

5. A4 format. This feature seems not to work.
