Fireworks is good for screen design Christian Robertson from Idle Mode is advocating Fireworks as the best tool for screen design and inviting webdesigners to stay away from Photoshop because of its complexity and because it has been designed for photos.

I Agree with Foo! and also in that sentence you wrote you say “Photoshop was designed for the screen” which makes no sense.

My mistake, one should read that Photoshop has been designed as a photograph editor.
